Interim Head of International Infrastructure-Architecture Management

Interim Manager of the „International Infrastructure Architecture Management“ team within RWE IT, the captive IT provider of the RWE Group. Coordination of the internationally distributed infrastructure architecture team. Functional lead of the local team of seven infrastructure architects at the Group headquarters. Alignment of current infrastructure requirements and solutions across country borders and business areas, in cooperation with Applications and Security Architecture functions within Group IT. Development and supporting the implementation of the future Group IT infrastructure, especially in regard of aligning current IT trends (Cloud – Everything as a Service) with the business imperatives and further development of the overall Group.

Coordination of IT Innovation topics of the Group with various IT vendors and service providers, in conjunction with the Innovation Center of the Group.

Transition Lead Back-Office Services & Security – Infrastructure Outsourcing Project

German Electricity Utilities Provider

March 2015 – November 2015

Project lead for solution implementation and service transition of Back Office Services (Active Directory, PKI, File and Print Services) as part of an Applications and Infrastructure Outsourcing engagement of a German electricity and gas utilities provider. Validation and further specification of the solution design, setup of the services within the target architecture, ramp-up of the operations teams in Bratislava and Warsaw. Transfer of services from the incumbent provider, alignment of the required steps and measures with the customer representatives as well as initiation of the service governance and reporting in line with industry standards such as ITIL, COBIT and CMMI.

Comprehensive consulting and support of all involved programme areas on the topics of IT Security and protection of customer and client data, including the development and implementation of measures necessary to achieve the agreed level of protection.
